The game tries to be a mixture of 2 kind of games (the old and mighty Heroes III, and the new type of mobile RPG). It doesn't feel like the mixture of both does a great job. (the story line became more boring, the old way of telling the story through exploring the map was way better. The second and more important point is that this game is a lot pay to win. Free to play player doesn't stand a chance when facing p2w player (since you can buyout most of the cool stuff). :( Sadly I loved Heroes III

I think this game would be better without all the timers and energy bars. They make the whole the whole thing into a chore because i feel like i have to use up my energy or I'll lose it. It has some interesting concepts. the combat tutorials (that for whatever reason don't show up until several hours into the game) show you that the combat has more strategy than first appears. but at this point i feel like it would be weeks until I unlocked enough troops and heroes and things to enjoy it.

Games doesn't feel like the might and magic games I've played. I don't like being stuck running through the forced tutorial they call gameplay. I want to explore and build the army I want. Not follow through playing the game how they want me to. Even with that I thought I would power through and see if I enjoyed it. Except it reset my progress. Battles I had previously fought I had to do again. Not a fun game. Just another boring mobile game with no creativity beyond forcing microtransactions.
