A MODERN GRAPHING CALCULATOR ON THE iPHONE
1. Fast, Interactive Touch-Screen Graphing
2. Everything is where you’d expect it to be
3. Scrollable windows (no more spamming the up arrow keys)
4. Intelligent error messages
5. Convenient
WHY MAKE ANOTHER GRAPHING CALCULATOR APP?
1. We (the creators), once relied on graphing calculators, and after installing countless, similar apps, we couldn’t find anything useable. Hence, we made our own.
2. Before launching on the App Store, we personally worked with a limited, yet sizable, number of students to continuously improve the app.

designfeature_requestsperformance_and_bugsI had just finished the last page of my Calculus calculator-required work when a wave of overwhelming gratitude for this app tsunami-ed onto me, invigorating me to extol its virtues to its deserved extent. I love everything about this app. It has literally every single feature that a TI-84 calculator has, and in some cases the features have been upgraded to be even more intuitive than the original (there are undo and redo buttons! you can search for any specific commands you need!) The graph is crisp and immediate, no waiting for the graph to load required. But these are just the basics; this app goes far and beyond, reaching for excellence. Every minute detail is felt during its use, like the haptics, which vibrate each time a button is pressed so the user has tactile confirmation of everything entered, or the über-sleek user interface, which provides an elegant look while making graphing and finding the buttons you need incredibly efficient. If you want a glorious, beautifully designed, jaw-droppingly spectacular TI-84 replica for any reason, download this one and you will be swept away in a sea of paradise from the moment your thumb taps open the app. Calculate84, I love you.

performance_and_bugsmonetizationThis calculator is a great way to avoid spending $120-$200 on a Ti84 calculator. However I have found some bugs when it come to running some of the statistic test such as 2propztests etc. however for the majority of your functions, you can’t get a better calculator. -response to developer: The errors I found were in the statistics tests under “STAT —> TESTS”: 3,4,6,9,0,B,and E. Basically any distribution with 2 samples or lists would not provide z score, p value, etc or necessary test statistic/parameters. (It would merely summarize the data I entered and not provide the solution.) -2nd response: Here’s one but I won’t do one for all the tests I listed as they run on similar principals. 2-sampleZtest Standard deviation 1: 4 Standard deviation 2: 5.1 X bar 1: 13.6 N1: 200 X bar 2: 11.6 N2: 11.6 Null hypothesis: not equal to mu ——- Expected answer: Z=4.36… P=1.28…* 10^-5 X bar 1 : 13.6 X bar 2: 11.6 N1: 200 N2: 200 ——— Received answer: It used to summarize the entered data but now appears the same p and z values are now presented. Thanks for resolving the issue.

cross_platform_consistencymonetizationI hate how expensive the TI calculators are (and the prospect of ewaste, as well as buying something my phone or laptop can do better, and supporting a single company monopoly), but also like to use something allowed on tests (so I can build skills for testing). This scales well on iPhone and iPad while still being fairly accurate to TI’s UI. (It does half screen, third of screen, full screen, slide over, etc super easily, so I can use it with procreate, Freeform, notion, etc smoothly). It’s also extremely convenient to not have to carry a giant old fashioned calculator with me. I think I prefer Desmos for a lot of tasks, but this helps for testing and has more specialized functions that would be done with Mathway or misc sites. The purchase model is also wonderful. I bought it years ago for highschool and can continue using it through college
