So far a clean and simple app with no real drawback. I like that the audiobook works when my phone is turned off. If I'm not wrong, you can use all the same features as its website counterpart, which I'm grateful for! I haven't seen any ads in between page flips or button presses, which already takes my vote. I paid for my book, I get to read with no gunk in between. Perfect!

So frustrating that there are no audiobook controls while reading the text. I like to watch it highlight as the audiobook reads but am unable to pause or watch how far I fast forward or rewind in the text because I have to go to another screen to reach audiobook controls, I can't see the text at the same time, I have no idea how far to rewind or fast forward. After digging I did find where I could add to my menu to "read from here" but this is not a user friendly app at all.

Just a marketing gimmick. It constantly bombards you with content unrelated to your class or book with no way to opt out. Every time you open the app it asks you to enable notifications. Pearson wants to be sure your buying as much as possible. Your peace of mind is irrelevant. The only thing that matters is that they can send you as many ads for their products as possible.
