Gizmo is honestly one of the best study apps I’ve used. The AI that turns notes, PDFs, and videos into flashcards is super smart and saves me so much time. I love how clean and modern the interface looks, and the spaced-repetition system really helps me remember things better. It’s perfect for students who want to study efficiently. A few things could be improved though: sometimes the app lags or crashes when handling large files, and I wish there was an offline mode so I could study anywhere. Also, some useful features are locked behind the premium plan, which can feel a bit limiting for free users. Overall, it’s an amazing tool that keeps getting better — I just hope the developers add a Dark Mode soon! It would make night studying way easier on the eyes.

I can't lie, when I use Gizmo to study it's extremely helpful. I'm able to easily recall what I've learned from this app on my test. But ever since I've used the app I've noticed certain lags and the app simply crashing. Recently, I've been working on making a deck for my permit test coming up and it's been extremely glitchy. At first it was just the app sometimes resetting when I spent a bit too long on a different app (looking at what answer to right for the card). Now it will go to a never-ending loading screen, go back to the homepage, crash, or just not let me add the question after going to the homepage causing me to restart the app. Also, the app is based on ai (as stated in the title) I'm not a fan of ai but I can't deny it was helpful this previous school year. Especially when I didn't feel like typing the cards myself. But it's the only time I use ai. I might delete the app because of the ai usage but the app itself is extremely helpful and the design is nice.

I got this app as I am a stem major in college and figured it would help especially during finals. I eventually decided to pay for the full app because you only get so many imports and like I said I am a stem major so I need to import graphs and experiments. The AI works amazingly and I haven’t had any issues with anything being saved. Ex) I was writing down notes from my phone to computer onto the app and my computer completely shut off, but when it came back on the notes I wrote (and didn’t save) we’re still there ready to be submitted. The only thing that the devs probably didn’t think about is you earn coins through xp when completing lessons. When you are using the app free, you can use these coins to get more hints or hearts. When you pay for the full app you get infinite hearts and hints so coins just build up. So it would be cool if you added fun customization that we can add to our profile.
