Edit: I pay for an ad-free experience and they are beginning to include ads in the ad free subscription. The App has some problems. It will at complete random decide to stop playing whatever you're watching and return you home. When it does this, or when you decide to stop watching, it will quite often decide to put you sometimes a whole season or more behind where you left off.

Long time subscriber. Over 6 years to see a series only offered here. Even though you pay a premium for commercial free service you still see ads. Whether it's for an additional service or a prime video exclusive. Frequently freezes when it's opened and won't even allow you to select a show. You attempt to scroll down to see your "continue watching" list and it closes before you can even get there. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling, and am still seeing the same issues.

I have been paying for Amazon Prime for many years now. Given that the service is paid for, I see no valid reason for the introduction of ads. The past few months, I had paid the additional fee to not see any ads. There were still some ads, nonetheless. I decided to stop spending even more money for something that's still happening anyway. Now, the ridiculous number of commercials, plus movies restarting, making me watch even more ads, I'm will not be renewing my subscription once it runs out.
