Version 1258
game_progressionmonetizationsocial_and_communityperformance_and_bugsIts very fun and allows for some amount of skill expression, but character stats still play a good role in being able to beat stages. Some aliens feel weaker than they should be compared to others tho. Alpha is actually OP and suggested by many to max out asap. Could do better on that. getting characters, dupes, and gear isnt limited to the gatchas which is a huge plus. Leaderboard matching is very scuffed tho and seems to be made to lure you into whaling hard.

Version 1257
monetizationgamificationfeature_requestsit's pretty cash grabby in the sense that there's a lot of very expensive things you can buy, but you don't have to buy them to play the game, getting new aliens takes a month and the challenges are difficult at times, such as some of them requiring specific aliens, even if you don't have them, meaning some challenges just won't be done for the next few months, also, the new guild system is weird and takes way too many points to level up. overall it's okay and there's a lot of content... 7/10

Version 1187
accessibilitygame_progressionmonetizationThis game's visual design and art style are great. The fun concept and characters were the reason I downloaded it, and the simple rougelite gameplay loop is why I stuck around. HOWEVER, this game is so so so grindy and becomes completely not fun to play around chapter 5. The difficulty spike is outrageous and is obviously aimed at making players spend money to overcome the wall. Pretty infuriating the options of advancement are: Grind for weeks for one level, or pay to win.
