My rating is for the app, not for the Acorn content. The app is pretty good. It has nearly everything anyone would want. Only exception is that, unless I am mistaken, the app doesn't keep up with what I have watched by series and episode. As a result, I have often started an episode only to discover after about 10 minutes that I have already seen that one. Actually, it sort of keeps up with the watched episodes. When you watch regularly, it may remember (not mark) and return you to the one.

Substandard, I didn't think a streaming service could be worse than Paramount +, but I was wrong. Installed the app, created an account, got logged in on the phone but that's where it stopped, tried adding it to the the TV, but when trying to get it working I couldn't login to the website to activate it, the app showed the casting icon so I tried that and it failed and asked me to learn more. Just reactivated my britbox, it's amazing how easy it was to login to a real apps website!

I love Acorn TV. They have some cool shows I haven't seen anywhere else. Could probably put a little work into IT, though. Make the app more user friendly. I wanted to get someone a gift subscription for years, but could never figure it out until they recently sent an email. Even then, it was not really easy to navigate. I canceled the Google Play sign up, and went through a different email because of IT issues. Fortunately, once you are in, there aren't really any issues.
